The past week was rough at work but once things were sent off to press around noon on Friday things eased off and slowly eased in to a nice chill weekend. I compression tested the WRX and got some pretty good numbers across all cylinders with it only taking a couple hours to finish. I made pulled pork in the crock pot that sat overnight that turned out fantastic to me. The Bills squeaked out a win over the Patriots for the first time in 9 years. I washed the Subaru and stuck it in the garage where it will hopefully stay cleanish. The paint isn’t great on it so its only about as clean as it can be. Still need to do a quick interior vacuum and all the windows other than the windshield. Probably need to switch to the winter tires this week too.
How did you all make out this weekend?

Awesome looking pulled pork, you’re making me hungry. Weekend was great here too, warm sunny days with blazing fall colors out. Drove many miles topless in the new-to-me convertible!

very nice - coincidentally I did farm style pork ribs in the crockpot for the first time yesterday and damn, that is the way to do pork. There is some crazy magic that happens between hour 7 and hour 9.

Looks great! Did you find the source of your coolant issues?

I put this in around 1230-1am last night on low, went to bed and turned it down to “keep warm” at 7:30. Pulled it, let it sit in the broth for about two hours and then tossed it in some sweet hickory BBQ sauce.
D
efinitely
somewhere
in that 8-10 hour range.
I love it and got the thumbs up from my Tennessean housemate.

Thanks! I love experimenting with the crock pot and large amounts
of meat. Your vert looks incredible!

Ugh. No. I don’t know if it’s necessarily
a coolant issue as that all still looks fine. I’m starting to think that it needs a retune. I had it dyno tuned in Massachusetts about 9 years ago and I think the move to elevation and replacing coil packs, O2 sensors, and other maintenance parts have started to mess with it. Kind of hesitant to throw that money at it right now in hopes it fixes that though.

jalapeños sound like a good addition.
Went to my older sisters for a low key trunk or treat. Drank too many beers at the fire pit.
Could the tune cause timing issues
with the lower octane fuel?

I always need to compliment the Sparcos whenever I see them. I love mine too.
Also, my college buddy was the one who stripped that ball for the Bills win. I’ll tell him you’re grateful.
